Vacuum Seal Clarification
The presence, absence, or perception of a vacuum seal is not a quality indicator.
A vial appearing to have little or no vacuum does not indicate contamination, degradation, loss of purity, or compromised integrity.
Vacuum perception may vary due to compound-specific lyophilization parameters, residual gas displacement, headspace volume, stopper elasticity, temperature or pressure fluctuations, and altitude changes during transport.
Mass and purity are verified — vacuum sensation is not a validated quality metric.
Lyophilized Material Appearance
Lyophilized material may appear cracked, fragmented, chipped, or loose within the vial. These are cosmetic variations only and do not affect chemical identity, purity, stability, or integrity. Lyophilized peptides are inherently fragile, and visual differences may occur during transit.
Reconstitution & Observation Variability
Peptides are highly sensitive to pH, concentration, and solvent quality. Improper solvent selection, incorrect volumes, insufficient buffering, or low-grade reagents may result in clumping, cloudiness, gelling, aggregation, or incomplete dissolution.
Such observations are most commonly attributable to solvent choice or handling technique, not compound quality.
